This man was caught stealing from a grocery store, so the owner sent him home with a bag of groceries

“Just witnessed a man caught stealing at our local grocery,” a Twitter user said on April 21. The grocery store turned out to be Central Fresh Market at Kitchener, Ontario. It was independently-owned by Mike Williamson.

Instead of calling the police, the owner confronted the man, pulled fruits and vegetables out of his pack, and said, “We will feed you.” Five minutes later, the man was seen walking through the parking lot with a bag full of groceries. While the food is important, it’s the acts of humanity and kindness that really makes a powerful difference.

“We were simply helping someone in need, many are very fortunate NOT to worry about their next meal,” the company said on Twitter. Central Fresh Market believes that it is of great importance to help those in need.
