Dave Grohl, Popular Foo Fighters Front-man, Accepts 10-Year-Old Drummer’s Virtual Drum-Off Challenge

The popular Foo Fighters front-man Dave Grohl has finally accepted a challenge by Nandi Bushell. The 10-year-old girl issued the drum battle on the 17th of August, in a YouTube video. She covered one of the band’s hit song “Everlong.”

The 51-year-old rocker responded in a tweet from the band’s official account on Saturday, 29th August. He wrote, tagging the talented little girl, “Challenge accepted, haven’t played these songs in a loooooong time… thanks for the inspiration!!!”

Bushell was delighted to have Grohl accept her drum-off as she tweeted, “This is UNREAL, I am going to checkmate this one too!” Accompanying the tweet was a video of the little girl showing how cool and exciting it was to get a reply from the rocker.

Grohl not only commended her but gave her a new challenge.

Bushell has impressed many rock stars with her skills. In January 2020, Queens of the Stone Age shared a video of Bushell playing their song “No One Knows” and tagged it as being “Incredible!!!”

Later in June, Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine sent a Fender Soul Power Stratocaster gift, after seeing her viral cover of the band’s “Guerilla Radio.”
